In the fight with COVID-19, Canadian government offered USD 10 million support to India

April 28, 2021: The pandemic conditions in India are going worse in India, as a large number of COVID-19 cases are coming daily. In such emergence conditions, the Canadian Government came forward to support India, as the North American country offered Indian red cross society a support of USD 10 million dollars. This help has been given by Canada to procure essential supplies. It was stated in the tweet by Canadian minister Karina Gould on Tuesday night, in which she wrote that, “Announced today: We are providing $10 million through the @redcrosscanada to the @IndianRedCross to support people in India as they combat #COVID19.”

Also on Wednesday, the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Truadeau retweeted that, “Right now, the people of India are facing a tragic situation. To help with everything from ambulance services to buying personal protective equipment, we’re contributing $10 million to @IndianRedCross through @RedCrossCanada. We stand ready to donate extra medical supplies, too.”
